hey everyone, i am writing from the relaxing spot of freedom rest. trying to relax but it is working to a point. now if i could only get my body to relax i think i would be alright. how are things in the real world? good for everyone i hope. i have nothing planned to day and that is a good thing. tomorrow i go back to the grind and cant wait . cause after we are done doing services on the tanks we are done except for the daily maintenance of the guntrucks and what ever else that may come up. so it is looking good. now when i get back me and this damn mouse are going to have words. it is eating my damn socks. im dreading getting back and finding even more of my socks with holes. and it only likes the sport ones. damn it. so i am going to fix his little red wagon and shove his tail up his ass. other than that nothing going on. welll i will talk to all of you guys later. see ya

 

well how the hell is everyone? good i hope. well it has been a good week . i went to gunnery and learned more about how to drive my 88 and how to tow a bradley which even my nco didnt know how to do. so we both learned on that. got to see the tanks fire at night and got some cool pics of the tanks firing at day. tyhen when we get back to our temp home we start this game with headquarters on who can tape the most people up. so far maintenance is up on them

and today i went up to biap to escort some guys to r n r. went as usual nothing happening. and i then find out after we get back that i am going to freedom rest for four days. i cant wait. i am so loooking forward to it. nothing but relaxing. not having to worry about humvees that hate me.

 i swear this humvee has it out for me. i so hate humvees. i would much rather work on a tank. at least they love me. so what all is going on there? i hope everything is going good. gearing up for the holidays. and please everyone be responsible new years........... drink one for us. seeeee yaa

so what is up in the real world? nothing much is going on here. time is flying by now. my ncos are making sure i learn whatever i can. and believe me i am. i figure the more i learn the better prepared i will be when new challenges come up. i love what i do now. i hope everyone is planning on having a good halloween. eat some candy for me and scare a few for me. i love halloween. it is one of my favorite holidays. the other is christmas. if anyone was wondering. i wish i had more to tell but i dont.

whats up? nothing much here. same ole same ole. jujst trying to decipher the rumors going around which ones are full of shit and which ones could be true. come to the conclusion...... fuck them all. i miss you beth and cant wait to do those plans we made. trust me you wont be out of my sight for much of the time im home. to every one out there... im trying to keep my head up but somedays are harder than others. i will def know how to do the next deployment cvause i aint fooling anyone i will be back. it dont matter who our president is. sorry dont want to seem pessimistic about everything  just trying to be realistic about it all. and excuse me if i seem to vent some. some of the people i work for are idiots. having us do some jobs into the late night when it could wait till the next day. we in our section have started having bitch sessions with the e-5s so that maybe we can weork some of the bugs out of what is going on. but enough of that. i hope everyone is doping well. i really do. i hqave writers block as far as the story im writing. it is about a young couple newly married being married in the modern world with all of todays modern traps. it sounds interesting i think. let me know what you think. part of the problem is finding the time to write it. but at least i have the idea down. well i will talk to you later take it easy and enjoy the one your with.

how is every one doing? good i hope . things are going good here. i have moved from recovery and am now in a crt. which stands for combat recovery team

i role out with the tanks and other vehicles to the front lines when they are in combat situations. and yes i love here more. i am always staying busy and learning my mos finally. that is what is really good. i am doing well learning my job. but other than that not much else is going on. i wish i could say there is all this exciting stuff going on here but there isnt. which im glad there isnt caus ethat means i have been fortinate. we get the mortars and the rockets but them iraqi shooters arent very good around us

how is everyone doing? good i hope there is nothing going on new. the govt. has been handed over and nothing seems different except we are waiting for the terrorist to do what they are going to do. Things are calm otherwise. i am counting down the days untill my leave. three to go. it is getting really hot here the average temp has been 118 if not higher some days. it really isnt that bad here. i thin k about it and it could be alot worse for us. we could be stuck onb a fob that is out in the desert and has nothing there. so im thankful. other than that there isnt much going on. i would like to again thank all those who are in my wifes group and are supporting us being here. thank all of you and hug and give thanks for having your husbands home. see all of you later.

hi everyone. things are good here. or as well as they can be. so how is everyone there in the good ole USA. good i hope.nothingn new is going on here. we are doing our guard shifts and counting the days to our leave dates arrive.mine is quickly approaching. i have sent beth several pictures and if you want any just ask her for some. i cant go into much what i do but i really like my jobs and the missions i do. our morale is good i will post more regularly so thank you for beiing patient and to all of you who are my wifes friends thank you for being there.

everything is going well here. it hes been really quiet. i thank god that all i have to do is do my guard shift do an occasional gunner mission into the red zone and that is all i have to do. nope i havent been promoted but i am carrying like i have. soon art one of the guys on our 88 crew will be promoted and i will have the 88. well i  got to go.
